Shan Moyers Lead Pastor
Family
Jen and I were married in 1997. In 2004 we moved to Colorado and immediately fell in love with the area and the people. God has blessed us with four children: Grace, Maddie, Jake and Luke. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, reading and playing basketball.
Education and Employment
I graduated from Cascade College in Portland, OR. Before joining the team at RMCC, I served as a Student Pastor, Small Groups Pastor, Campus Pastor and Executive Pastor. These opportunities were critical in shaping my heart for the church and my desire to lead. I have always believed that God has been preparing me to lead a local church to impact its community and world. In the summer of 2012 that dream became a reality here at RMCC. I joined the staff in September and transitioned to the Lead Pastor role in February of 2013. My passion is to inspire people to know Jesus and motivate them to love their world like he does.
Favorite Scripture
"I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes..." Romans 1:16

Founding Pastor
History With RMCC
In 1984, Linda and I moved to Longmont with our three children to help begin RMCC. It’s been the most fulfilling ministry we’ve ever been part of, and it has blessed us with the best friends we’ve ever had. We happily connect with a couples’ small group and take great delight in the growth of every dimension of our church family. I'm now excited about partnering with RMCC in my new role with Blessing Ranch as Director of Pastor Care and Leadership Development. This opportunity is enabling me to pursue my passion of helping pastors and Christian leaders connect in soul enriching relationships to both serve and finish well.
Education and Employment
I have degrees from Milligan College, B.A.; Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Master of Divinity; and Fuller Theological Seminary, Doctor of Ministry.
Family
Our oldest daughter Jennifer and her husband are active at Lifebridge Christian Church where Drew serves on staff—their children Alicia and David are happily growing in Christ. Our son Joel and his wife Nicole are in Cherry Point, N.C., where Joel serves with the U.S. Navy as a family physician. They have two children, Andrew and Emily. Our youngest daughter Kristin is married to Dave Stacey. Dave and Kristin recently returned from Cambodia where they were serving in support of missionaries. They have now settled in Longmont, are activley engaged at RMCC on the Niwot campus and are celebrating the birth of Ethan David on January 23, 2013.
Favorite Scripture
“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.” (2 Peter 1:3)

Cris Crisfield Pastor
Family
I am happily single by calling. My mother lives in the area, as well as my brother and his family. I have two sisters on the East Coast.
Favorite Scripture
“Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” (Psalm 73:25-26)
Personal Testimony
Raised in a Christian home, I drifted away from the faith after high school. After 13 years of wandering, I returned to the faith at age 31 and began to discover the difference between calling myself a Christian and living for Christ. This led to an understanding of my calling to ministry, a journey I continue to this day.
Education and Employment
My education is as follows: B.A. from Colorado Christian University in 1991, and M.Div. from Emmanuel School of Religion in 1994. I have worked as a janitor, motel desk clerk, bank teller, cab dispatcher, tree planter, bouncer, programmer, systems analyst, missionary and pastor.

Joe Truitt Pastor
Family
I have been married for 23 years to my amazing wife, Marla, and we have two boys. Seth, who is 19 years old and has Down’s Syndrome, recently graduated from Frederick High School. He is currently attending Life Strategies University in Longmont to learn more life skills that will help him develop more independence as he matures. Spencer is 12 and is in the 7th grade. He loves basketball, baseball and football and keeps us very busy with his young teen-age schedule.
Favorite Scripture:
Jer. 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Personal Testimony:
I started going to church from the day I was born and grew up in a very strong Christian family. I gave my live to Jesus when I was 14 years old, and it has been quite a ride ever since. I found that even though I gave my life to Christ, life can still be filled with challenges and temptations that bring pain and destruction. Thankfully, God has never left my side and He has lead me through dark valleys and brought me into His light. I am so amazed by God’s grace and love and completely give Him the credit for my being where I am today.
Education and Employment:
I receive my A.A. degree from York Christian College in 1987 and then entered the job force. I did things from being a pipe-fitter to bending rebar to owning a lunchwagon business. I was finally called to go into ministry in 1995 and went to Harding University where I received my BMin degree. I proceeded to serve as a youth minister in Colorado Springs, and then an associate minister in Longmont.
