_Baptism is a visual, public demonstration of our relationship with Christ. RMCC baptizes by immersion as practiced by the early Christian church. Jesus was baptized this way (Matthew 3:16-17), and when He sent them out, He commanded his disciples to baptize new believers in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
Baptism by immersion is symbolic: We share in Christ’s death, burial and resurrection, illustrated by going under water (dead to our old life), then rising again (new life). We are symbolically washed clean, our sins being forgiven by His death on the cross. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are ready to be baptized. There is no need to wait! If you are interested in being baptized, baptisms are held at the end of each service on both campuses. To arrange for a private baptism, call Jan Sciacca at 303.652.6834 or email . For information on baptizing children, pick up an information packet at the Family Visitor Center. |
