Adults: Care & Help

When life hits and hurts happen, we want you to know that the church is here for you. We offer an array of services to help, including counseling, financial and food assistance, prayer ministry, funerals, hospital care and more. Read the following for more information.

When you or someone in your family has been hospitalized, we want to know about it so we can care for you. If you are in a Neighborhood Group, let someone in the group know. Or if you’d like a visit from a pastor, please call 303-652-6832 and someone will respond shortly.

If you have a surgery scheduled, call 303-652-2211. Let us know when and where your surgery will be and what time you will need to be at the hospital. We will contact you and see how best to arrange prayer time with you, either the day of the surgery or at your home before.

Loss of a Loved One

Losing someone you love is one of the hardest moments in life. We want to help you through such a time. When you experience a loss, please call 303-652-2211. If it is after hours or you do not connect with someone, leave a message on the pastoral care line. Someone will return your call very soon. If you are in a neighborhood group, make sure someone in your group is aware of your loss. Neighborhood groups are the frontline of pastoral care!

Financial Need

All requests for financial assistance are reviewed by our Benevolence Committee as funds are available. Please call the church during office hours (9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday) for more information.

Professional Counseling

Beyond care and counseling provided by pastoral staff, Rocky maintains a list of counselors we know have a Christian world view in their approach. We do not make specific recommendations but are happy to provide a list for your consideration. The ultimate choice of a counselor is up to you. Here is a LINK to our list.

Community Resources

Rocky may not be able to provide all of the services you need, but we have compiled a large list of resources in each of our communities. For copies of the resources click on the following links:     Affordable Housing and Benevolence Resources.
